The cuisine of the French bistro Zoltán Petrus and Feke can be tasted again!

Not anyway.

During the evenings in the apartment restaurant, we conjure up the French feeling of life at Nektek Buda, in which Zoltán Kálmán, the chef's partner, is the owner of Buda's Jardinette.

 

We are preparing evenings where even connoisseurs of French gastronomy will click and get up from the table with a smile on their faces.

 

The Chef has set the bar high. He cooks for 14-16 guests each time.

What can you taste?

Just a few dishes that  you will surely be able to find it in the offer of the evenings:

 

  • Citrus, salmon, egg, avocado, caviar 

  • Foie gras, smoke, plums, pastis, barbecue

  • Duck, mandarin, pomegranate, beet, daikon, cognac, caramelized celery cream, pine nuts

Jardin de Petrus is a home restaurant, where tickets can be purchased in advance for announced evenings or for 10-18 people, we also hold evenings on request.

 

We conjure the French way of life in Buda for you Jardin de Petrus is the restaurant of Chef Zoltán Feke and Zoltán Kálmán, the owner of the Jardinette in Buda.

 

What can you taste?

Just a few dishes, similar to which you can surely find in the offer of the evenings:

 

Citrus, salmon, egg, avocado, caviar

Foie gras, smoke, plums, pastis, barbecue

Duck, mandarin, pomegranate, beet, daikon, cognac, caramelized celery cream, pine nuts

ZOLTAN FEKE

He has been a chef since he was 21 years old, and he has created excellent kitchens at a young age  managed, gained a lot of experience abroad.

 

Zoltán Feke opened his own restaurant, Petrus, after he left the kitchen of Vár: a Spejz. The restaurant in Budapest held the Bib Gourmand rating of the Michelin Guide for 5 years at a time when only a few restaurants could claim to have been discovered by the French restaurant guide.

The Petrus kitchen  it has always been characterized by a kind of unearned, instinctive "cooking well".

The Chef did not unconditionally follow the trends, he always incorporated only as many of the innovations into his dishes as suited the style of old-fashioned French restaurants.

 

Petrus also received the lip-smacking Michelin Bibendum award for excellent value for money.

The restaurant held the Michelin Bib Gourmand for 8 years, until 2020.

ZOLTÁN KÁLMÁN

He spent his university years at Közgáz, where he obtained a degree in economics. He started his career in the treasury area of domestic banks, and during the 11 years he spent at ING Bank, he delved into the mysteries of the sector.

 

After his banking career, his life took an unexpected turn, and in 2017 he took over the family business, the Jardinette restaurant, from his father, which he has been running passionately ever since. The restaurant's mission is to provide its guests with a real experience, and this intention is also proven by the Jardinette's colorful events.

 

Zoltán Kálmán constantly creates new things with his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, while he is happy to share this commitment and knowledge with his guests.

He was able to develop his expertise in the field of education at the Banking Training School and Kodolány University.

He is married and has three sons.
